During this time of divisive rhetoric and bizarre unfounded claims against immigrants from Latin America and the Caribbean. Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month is a catalyst for healing and unity for all people in the United States.

Hispanic and Latinx Heritage Month, celebrated annually from September 15th to October 15th, provides a unique opportunity to honor the rich cultural contributions of Hispanic and Latinx communities to the United States. While these contributions are celebrated year-round in households like mine, this designated month offers a platform to extend awareness and appreciation to a broader audience. (MORE)

Once again, we find ourselves in the fight for fairness and equity. October 3rd was Latina Equal Pay Day. Our journey is far from over, and we won’t rest until we achieve the recognition and value we deserve.
