Nevertheless, Mental Health Awareness Month is an opportunity for showcasing, sharing, and supporting resources from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to de-stigmatize mental health struggles and normalize conversations about strategies and tools for our wellness and well-being.

A Growth Mindset stands as a beacon of transformative power. At the heart of courageous and compassionate leadership lies the unwavering belief in the potential for growth, learning, and resilience in the face of challenges. This mindset is not just a tool but a foundational ethos that propels leaders, especially Women and People of Color in the non-profit sector, to break barriers, innovate, and lead with empathy and strength.

Learning and Development
I’m passionate about ensuring everyone has access to the resources needed to thrive in their careers. Recently, on April 17, 2024, at a Virtual Zoom Conference, I had the opportunity to share my experience using a powerful tool for professional development: LinkedIn Learning.
My presentation shares how LinkedIn Learning can be leveraged to build a sustainable Learning and Development (L&D) strategy that prioritizes inclusion as a key driver of employee engagement and success. I authored a LinkedIn article that dives deeper into the multiple reasons why organizations need to focus on the importance of L&D investment in the workplace.
